Let's take a look.

Recently, we had a group of women who participated in our UnderCover Angel program. WOW!! These women were confident, strong and a whole lot of fun. They told us we were amazing but let's be real.

We DO amazing work but we wouldn't be able to it without them. They brought their smiles, energy and excitement. They were also nervous, but after 5 minutes, they had a wonderful time. And we captured great images of each of them.

Remember going to a Tupperware party? How about a jewelry or naughty nightie party?
We all didn't want to go sometimes but it was a family member or really good friend who was having the party. So we went....and we had fun because of the people at the party. Of course we bought something because we wanted to help them. And in the end, we loved what we bought.

Our UnderCover Angel Program is similar. We have our hostess and she brings in a couple of her friends. We have a party. This party is soooo much fun. Wine, champagne, cheese, crackers, fruit, chocolate (can't have a party without chocolate), friends and FUN.

Breast Cancer Awareness

I titled this Breast Cancer Awareness. This is why. We had a very special lady come to us to do an UnderCover Angels session. When asked why this was so important to her she told us of her story.

Tammy had breast cancer and is a survivor. She endured the unthinkable. A double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. If anyone has gone thru this process, you know. It takes so much out of you. I personally have not been here. I feel the women that have are more courage and have more strength then I.

Tammy, as you can see, is not only strong and courageous, she is beautiful. When she walked out of our studio, she got what she wanted the most. She wanted to feel like a women again. She was empowered. She felt sexy.

For Leo and I, this means so much. I can't describe it. So many emotions. I don't even know the proper wording to use.

I know we haven't been on this blog for awhile. Let me explain.

Some women do not want their images posted on the Internet. Angel Moon Photography will always respect our clients wishes. For some women, this session is a very private and personal session. They do the sessions for themselves. Bravo to these women. Just to try and do the session can be very hard. I know I did it myself.

As women we should be proud of us. We do for our families and loved ones 24/7. Sometimes we get lost in the shuffle of life. We do not do things for us. Our family is more important. There comes a time when we realize "Ok it is me time". And that is very important. We all need "ME" time. Balancing everyday life, with work, the children's activities, housework, and if you have a partner, their needs also. We forget about us and what we need and want.

Wow!!! A GREAT time was had by all! There were laughs and giggles and smiles and maybe even a little blushing...

Our model did an awesome job showing off the latest in fashion lingerie... Ohh La La! She loved showing off for our demonstration photo session.

The evening ended with a beautiful slideshow of our model's UnderCover Angels photo session! The ladies oohed and ahhed and applauded!!!

Several of the ladies in attendance were so impressed that we expect to be scheduling their UnderCover angels session very soon.

Our UCAngels have great imaginations. What does you signficant other enjoy as a hobby. Is he a baseball/hockey/basketball fan etc...does he play sports/fish/golf... there are so many differnet "costumes" we can use to specialize you UCAngles session.

REMEMBER ladies...Christmas is coming... I know it is early but...what better gift to give him. I beautiful album with special photos of you. We are always trying to find the perfect gift for him. He has everything or almost. But this is such a special and personal gift that he will enjoy for a very long time. Think about it.

Well, today we are doing another UCAngels party. It should be alot of fun. We have one of our angels here for a second time and she wants to do a pin up shot. The others are new so we will guide them with the process.

I hope everyone had a fun Easter. On Easter Eve, Leo and I visited with our grandson Peyton and colored eggs.
On Easter we were invited to a friend's house this year and had a wonderful time. Their family is warm, fun and we felt like family by the time we left. I still missed my Florida kids.

Just a quick note. I have been asked why we only have pictures of a few women. The answer is quite simple. Some women do not want their pictures out for public viewing. This is very important. We want to respect the privacy of our clients when doing this type of session. Not everyone wants their pictures for everyone to see.

Another busy week ahead. Getting ready to do another UnderCover Angels session. If you are thinking about this type of session for yourself, ask this question. When was the last time you did something for yourself. Probably a long time ago. It is time to take care of you.

What a great turn out for Project Glam!! There were plenty of skin care professionals, several boutiques, jewelry, makeup artists and then us. Photography for women, UNDERCOVER ANGELS. The staff was very good keeping everything flowing.

There were fashion shows almost every hour, but only a few pocketbooks. But never fear, I did get a pair of new earrings. No pocketbooks, jewelry is also good. Everyone that knows me, knows I love jewelry.

My son, Boomer, once told me I had too much jewelery and that's why he did not get me jewelry for Mother's day. I had to quickly explain to my son that a women never, never, never has enough jewelry. Leo laughed and told my son that jewelry is always good. He listened well, the next occasion I received a beautiful necklace from him.

Remember guys, when all else fails, JEWELRY, good choice.

Tonight, Project Glam in New Haven at the Omni Hotel. This should be fun. Many exciting vendors will be there for our shopping pleasure. A great girls night out to explore the new fashions for spring and summer.

Hoping to see new pocketbooks. Leo thinks a women needs to buy one bag and it should last a least a year. He just does not get it sometimes, but I explain. New season, new pocketbook or just because. Same with shoes. Men buy one pair of good shoes, a pair of sneakers, boots and they are done. As I explain to my husband different outfit different shoes. And the look of confusion sets in. And he shakes his head. I still love him.

But tonight should be alot of fun. We will be showing off UnderCover Angels. We will have samples of our weddings, children, babies and portrait also. Hope to see you there.
